BWR’s Twelfth-Annual Contest Now Open!
Black Warrior Review is now accepting submissions to our twelfth-annual contest from April 1st through September 1st 2016.
We are honored to have Hoa Nguyen (poetry), Sofia Samatar (fiction/prose), and T Clutch Fleischmann (nonfiction) as guest judges this year.
Winners in each genre receive a $1,000 prize and publication in BWR 43.2, Spring/Summer 2017. Three runners-up will be awarded $100. Finalists receive notation in that issue and are considered for publication. The $20 entry fee includes a one-year subscription to Black Warrior Review. Click here for complete rules and guidelines.
