Yi Sang (1910–1937), born Kim Haekyŏng, lived his entire life during the Japanese occupation of Korea. He wrote and published in both Korean and Japanese, and is one of Korea’s most important Modernist writers. YI SANG: SELECTED WORKS is forthcoming from Wave Books in Fall, 2020.
